“What Black Women Want You to Know” is an online session that will be held on Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. before National Day of Racial Healing, which will be held on Jan. 18. 

The free session will feature Salaam Green and Lucy Wairimu Mukuria. 

Green created the "What Black Women Want You to Know" series and is a practitioner and trainer for the Kellogg Foundation’s Truth Racial Healing & Transformation process.

She has trained people through the Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth and Reconciliation and UAB Institute for Arts in Medicine. She is also the founder of Literary Healing Arts, LLC. 

Mukuria is a mental health care reformer in Kenya and is the American Psychological Association’s 2022 recipient of the International Humanitarian Award. She founded True North, an organization caring for veterans.
