Vaughan Regional Medical Center has received numerous equipment, including face masks and gloves, from Wallace Community College Selma, according to a post on the institution’s Facebook page.

The equipment was donated by the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative at WCCS, which gave 2,000 gloves, 500 masks, and 50 goggles to the center in order to help as the coronvrius or COVID-19 pandemic continues.

As of today there are 59 confirmed cases in Dallas County, with three dead of the disease. According to the Alabama Department of Public Health there are 7,984 confirmed cases and 295 deaths in the state.
