Obesity prevention flyer

The Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension is seeking 50 volunteers throughout the Black Belt Region to take part in an obesity and overweight prevention program. 

This will be a virtual program where participants will be asked to register online or call 334-439-0205. Afterwards participants will be asked to take part in nutrition education and physical activities once a week for 12 weeks as part of the program. 

Volunteers will receive a scale, blood pressure monitor and instructional materials. They will also be given a monetary reward for participating. 

To be eligible adults must be between ages 18 to 65 and children must be between ages 8 to 15. All must be residents of Black Belt counties.
