Update: The tornado watch was been cancelled.

Dallas County is now under a moderate risk for severe weather through 10 p.m., according to a graphic posted by the Dallas County Emergency Management.

Risks include possible tornados, damaging winds up to 80 mph and golf ball-sized hail.

Much of Alabama is facing a severe weather threat today, with tornados a possibility as well as hail, flash flooding and damaging winds.

According to AlabamaWx Weather Blog, three rounds of storms are making their way around the state. The third round may be the most impactful today and tonight from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Everyone is advised to stay tuned with their local weather reports and take precautions as the situation evolves.
