Dallas County is reporting 2,867 cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday, an increase of 23 cases since Monday. The death toll increased by one to 44.
Cases rose by 237 in the last two weeks, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

There are currently 379,500 confirmed cases in Alabama, an increase of 5,000 since Monday, and 4,886 deaths related to the virus, an increase of eight since Monday. More than 1.91 million tests were conducted as of Jan. 5, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.
