Edmund Pettus lighting

The Selma Redevelopment Authority heard more details on their role in Edmund Pettus Bridge Lighting Project during their Nov. 19 meeting.

Mike Lewis, co-chair of the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Selma Economic Design Team, wanted a clearer idea of what their role would be in the Edmund Pettus Bridge Lighting Project before signing any contract with companies involved or with partner Selma Center for Nonviolence, Truth and Reconciliation.

Lewis told the SRA that the Alabama Department of Transportation needed a municipal organization to work with, which is the SRA.
