Susan Youngblood has been hired by Selma Redevelopment Authority as the community advocate/program director.

The Selma Redevelopment Authority (SRA) Board of Directors has hired current City Council member Susan Youngblood as its community advocate/program director. 

The SRA Board voted to offer the position of Community Advocate/Program Director to Youngblood in a posted special called teleconference meeting on Aug. 22, and Youngblood accepted, SRA Chairman Juanda Maxwell said. Youngblood has served 12 years on the City Council representing Ward 2 but is not running for re-election.

The SRA Board has been meeting by teleconference since the COVID-19 pandemic.
