Alabama Bass Trail tournament Sept. 18

Selma's Justin Mott talks about the disappointing and frustrating day he and his father Mark had on the Alabama River.

“It was a tough day of fishing for everybody.”

That’s how Selma’s Mark Mott described fishing the Alabama Bass Trail Angler of the Year tournament on Cooter’s Pond in Prattville on Sept. 18. Weights were low all day. Only three teams broke the 15-pound mark, and those were good for the first three spots.

Mark fishes with his son Justin, and they were predicted to come in close to the top.
