Xsel at planetarium

Clark xSEL students enjoy learning at G. A. Gayle Planetarium in Montgomery.

As the summer enrichment learning program approached the end of the session, Selma City Schools students from kindergarten through fifth grade gained learning experiences from exploratory journeys to the Montgomery Zoo and the G. A. Gayle Planetarium.

The groups were split from K-3 at the zoo and 4-5 at the planetarium. The field trips expanded learning and augmented classroom lessons for assessment purposes.

A “Solar System Odyssey” was the title of an animated short depicting facts about the planets, moons, Milky Way and other facts about our world.
