Tomorrow the second webinar of the Get Fit Selma! heath series will discuss type II diabetes, related conditions and COVID-19.

The webinar will be led by Anetrial King, who is a family nurse practitioner at Rural Medical Health Program in Selma.

"She has practiced in primary care for [three] years, has extensive  leadership experience as a Director of Medical Surgical Unit and [eight] years of professional experience as a registered nurse with a background in ICU, pediatrics and an adjunct clinical instructor at Wallace Community College Selma," said Get Fit Selma! organizers in an email released to media.

"Ms. Kings’s passion is focused on teaching patients about maintaining a balance for optimal health and wants the people of Dallas County to know that they can get special care right here in Selma, where she was born and raised."

The webinar is free but participants are asked to register at this link. Those that register will be part of a raffle drawing.

The webinar will take place on Saturday, Sept 12 at 10 a.m. Participants can sign in on Zoom with the passcode, 2020.
