Salvation Army renovation

Selma’s Salvation Army has a new look, a reorganization and new management, but new Director Laura Donovan said some traditions have not changed.

One tradition that is not changing is the annual Red Kettle Campaign, which Donovan said is the Salvation Army’s largest fundraiser each year. The official kick off for the Red Kettle Campaign was Friday, Nov. 19.

Donovan said they need bell ringers. She asked everyone to volunteer to be a part of this historic Christmas tradition. Anyone interested in being a bell ringer can call the Salvation Army Store at 334-526-2718.
