Frank Rogers Country Store in Marion Junction is changing owners after 41 years.

Frankie Rogers is turning over ownership of his old-timey country store on U.S. 80 to fellow Marion Junction resident Meredith Crocker and her husband Chad, who moved back from Tuscaloosa during the pandemic and decided to take over the store to keep it alive in the community for generations to come.

“I’ve had a good time and made good acquaintances,” Rogers said. “I’ve seen a bit of everything on this corner. I could write a really good book.”
