Leika’s preschool moms Emily Adkins and Glennis Porter were talking one day about how they could help their children’s pre-school raise money to renovate their playground.
A month later, they had raised $5,135 with a fun fundraiser called “You’ve Been BOO-ed!” held during Halloween.
The two moms went all over town after dark putting friendly ghost yard signs in the yards of unsuspecting neighbors. The signs could be moved to other yards in the community for a donation to the school’s playground fund.
