Fran Pearce of Pearce Catfish Farms, was named to the ALBBA board.

Fran Pearce, a lifelong resident of Dallas County, has been named a board member of Alabama Black Belt Adventures.

Pearce serves as a Selma Charity League Sustainer and board member of ArtsRevive. She is also a founder of and board member of Leadership Selma Dallas County.

“I love the Black Belt, and I’m excited to promote the many good things in the Black Belt,” Pearce said.

ALBBAA is a nonprofit organization based in Montgomery that promotes opportunities in all 23 Black Belt counties. Pearce said the organization has a goal to better include the artistic and historic aspects of the Black Belt with the outdoors, which is why she was asked to join the board.
