In celebration of Black History Month, The Philos Project is hosting Israel’s Ambassador to the United States and United Nations Gilad Erdan on a two-day listening/learning tour that will include a visit to Selma next week.

The group will start their meeting in Charleston, S.C., and travel to Montgomery and Selma from Feb. 21-23 to better understand the African-American experience from an Israeli and Jewish perspective.

The Rev. Dr. David E. Jackson, Associate Director, African American Affairs and the Ambassador will visit the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma on Tuesday.
