The Black Belt Community Foundation's (BBCF) "Throw & Go" contest is being brought back in 2021 for tickets to the Iron Bowl game at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Nov. 27.

”We are excited to bring back this fun, team-spirited way for many people to come together in helping their own communities and supporting the Black Belt, especially after this difficult past year and a half," said BBCF President Felecia Lucky.

"This contest is just the right kind of medicine and dose of positivity that so many need these days!”

To participate donors are asked to give a $5 minimum donation for a prize drawing, which will be done on Nov. 15. The drawing will be recorded and shared on BBCF's social media.

The winner will be entered into the contest before the Iron Bowl game. Direct paper ticketing will be offered in the 12 Black Belt counties in the BBCF's Community Associates network.

The "Throw & Go" contest will have the contestant try to complete a 12-yard pass to a BBCF Staff Member. According to a press release from BBCF, the 12 yards is symbolic of the counties in the Black Belt.

For questions about the contest, contact  Christopher Spencer at the BBCF office: 334.874.1126 (ext.105) or by e-mail to cspencer@blackbeltfound.org.
