Avis Williams. 

Selma City Schools (SCS) Superintendent Avis Williams recently joined other education leaders in Future Chiefs, a leadership development program by Chiefs for Change. 

According to a press release from SCS, Future Chiefs is a program that lasts for a year as leaders "engage in collective learning on issues central to effective leadership and receive coaching and mentorship from members of the Chiefs for Change network."

Chiefs for Change is a nonprofit network for state and education leaders where school policies are a focus among other topics.
